A young courier driver has been delivering in our street for several years. He's a regular visitor to my house. This morning he dropped off a parcel. He looked down at the parcel as usual as I signed for it then headed straight to his van.
On impulse, I called out. 'Excuse me...' He came back. 'It would make a huge difference if you made eye contact with your customers - looked us in the eye and smiled...' He was taken aback. He looked me straight in the eye and smiled. Who knows the ripple effect of that one small action.
Finally, speaking of ripple effects...yesterday's comment section included comments from people who said they don't know what to say in the comments anymore so they don't comment as often.

The ripple effect of your comment goes far beyond what you imagine. It starts simply with boosting my spirits. Every day I sit at my laptop and wonder if I have any/enough content for a post. Yet somehow I continue to produce a post, every single day.

That pig video is the funniest video I have seen recently. I laughed so hard & have to save the video. Please keep them coming. It’s a good change from some of the other videos. Honestly, I don’t really resonate with some of the British comedy. I know everyone loves them, but I don’t really get the humor. Never did. Maybe it’s my Midwest (Ohio) upbringing. DeleteAmi, I thought it's only normal not to laugh at all videos. I don't find every video funny too, but some do crack me up. I just treat it like a blind box adventure, sometimes I get it sometimes I don't 😂. Yes, please continue this segment...I do appreciate the kind intentions behind having it. 💕
DeleteThe picture of the old bridge says a lot about balnce in a relationship. Each of the two people are one half of the bridge and they meet in the middle over the river of life. It's a wonderful picture with sunshine in the woods and with hope and encouragement.

I’m loving the Alexander Quinn’s at the moment. Particularly the first one he put out in answer to the viewers questions. I must have listened to it five time already. Everything in 3D needs constant maintenance, including this blog! 😀 Thanks Sierra & everyone for giving it the time & effort everyday to keep it well & alive.🌱 I'm finding it hard to be mindful & concentrate these days. Sometimes I'm just halfway through a video & I feel like ending it, the same reason why I also find it hard to leave a comment. 😀 The other day there was a post about time vaporizing & I couldn't agree more. I'm not sure if there's just too much information & distractions all around us. So as empaths we are also processing these info in our field without even consciously reading or watching it, thus the speedup of time & exhaustion. ReplyDeleteJN, I just want to say a big huge DITTO regarding your comment. I resonate with everything you said. Currentlty my concentration span could fit on the head of a pin. I marvel that I focus long enough to get a post out every day. It takes enormous discipline to slow down my speeding mind. I am attempting to do less every day in order to slow everything down but even that is not enough anymore. Phew! Buckle up, Buttercups. Love and Light to you in Singapore.

DeleteI find lately I’m trying to get through videos and blogs really quickly. I am speed reading and fast forwarding videos to just get to the punchline. I think this speeding up of time is affecting the way I am processing information. I want to take it all in but in as little time as possible.
ReplyDeleteIndigo, your comment made me smile...! That is exactly what I do too. I have developed little tolerance for slow things. I watch videos at 1.25 speed. If someone is talking slowly in a conversation, I am thinking, 'Get to the point..!' The rapid passage of time has definitely affected how I am living on a daily basis. All we can do is remind ourselves we are doing the very best we can under extremely challenging conditions. Love and Light to you.

ReplyDeleteI'll add on to Eileene's post b/c I can't post unless I comment under someone else. Strange. We often talk about the Mandela effect - I thought I would write of my experience. Some of you know that my whole office was flooded by an ice storm here in February. I had to take everything out so it could be redone. I have an antique side table that I use in the office, over the years it unfortunately got a ring mark from a glass of water sitting on it. The ring mark was on the right hand top of the table. Well, when everything was being put back in the office after was it was fixed, I looked at the antique table and the ring mark was now on the LEFT HAND side of the top of the table. I just kept looking at it in awe. I knew the spirits were helping me get through this and that seemed to be the proof. Amazing. Love and lIght, Betsie

DeleteThe feeling of being in a holding pattern, of not moving forward, is probably the most frustrating part of all of this. Being a Taurus moon, I have a hard time with change, but not knowing what I want to do with my life before disclosure, not having consistent motivation for hobbies, chores or self care, having to live paycheck to paycheck, working at a job that doesn’t fulfill my soul, it all makes me feel like a huge failure, and makes me want change, or some relief.

We are in a holding pattern of conscious awareness of what is currently unfolding on planet Earth. We are surrounded by sleepers, many of whom are very slowly starting to awaken.
