Today is the first birthday of this blog. Happy Birthday to us...! A year ago last night I was having a lovely evening at a friend's house during a storm power blackout (thanks Sue). I returned to my dark house feeling happy and peaceful. I went to my laptop to check my blog. Nothing. Gone. Deleted. Forever. I went into deep shock. Even though posts were being censored and deleted almost weekly - and I knew the end was near - I was still completely side-swiped. Years of daily posts gone forever. I grieved for the rest of the evening.  The following morning I moved into solution-mode. Right...! A new blog. That afternoon my wonderful daughter Liv helped me to set up this blog. We held hands as we pushed 'Publish' on the very first post. From that first post to this day, I have not lost a single post due to censorship. I now believe the old blog was meant to go.
